Too much sugar in juices?

Let's talk sugar, juicing and health.

Unfortunately, mainstream health outlets say there’s no difference between eating processed sugar and eating natural sugar in fruits, but they're so wrong! Many mainstream writers have been bought off by wealthy pharmaceutical and junk food giants to keep you unaware and going to the doctor for life long treatments with no cures. And you know from experience, I'm speaking the truth.

They claim that an apple could have as much sugar as a piece of candy but they don't say that the candy is a simple carbohydrate that doesn't contain fiber, vitamins, minerals, or antioxidants while the apple is a complex one that contains all of the above plus more.

Fast foods with added sugars are way higher in calories and lower in essential nutrients, whereas whole foods with naturally occurring sugars are the exact opposite. We only use organic whole foods!

Naturally occurring sugar is already in certain foods, ie: an apple. But apples have added health benefits. Added sugar is sugar that was added to the food at some point. There’s a big difference between the two.

I will say that added sugar does usually taste good, but it's side effects are unhealthy, if eaten often. And other than your occasional treat you should avoid it. For a younger person this advice probably seems outrageous but to an older person, they've already seen the wisdom of it. Do your older body a favor now and make a change.

Sugar is extremely overused. Most Americans eat processed foods packed with refined sugar and high-fructose corn syrup. It's found in store bought juices, soda, ketchup, barbecue sauce and even bread! It’s hard to avoid and it adds empty calories to our diets. Added sugar is also addictive, so the more sugar we take in, the more we tend to crave.

Lets ease off of the following foods:

  • Pastries, muffins, cakes & brownies
  • Breads with sugar in the ingredients
  • Sweet sauces, salad dressings and condiments
  • Sweet nut milks and coffee creamers
  • Candy
  • Ice cream
  • Sweet yogurts
  • Store bought fruit juices
  • Granola bars
  • Sweet cereals

Yogi juice gives you all of the good nutrients and it's all natural. Pasteurized store bought, fast food or gas station juices are generally made from concentrate and stripped of most of their health benefits. They do have a longer shelf life than natural juices though and that's because they're pumped with preservatives which have a negative effect. Yogi juice is organic, never pasteurized, no added sugars and never from concentrate.

Your sugar intake with our juices is a complex carb balanced with fiber and other healthy necessities. So feel great while enjoying your juice and notice the difference in your conscience plus your vitality.
